Local Sports Report - February 23, 2021

Lawrenceburg picked up a win on Homecoming Night, SD won their second in a row, and JCD remained undefeated in the ORVC.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Lawrenceburg 76, Rushville 48 - The Tigers jumped out to an 18-7 first quarter lead and never looked back on Homecoming Night. Jackson Bobo led the way with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Garrett Yoon chipped in with 13 points, and Ashton Craig, Dahya Patel and Reece Denning had eight points each. Lawrenceburg's win was aided by great rebounding. They outdid Rushville 40-17 on the backboards. 

South Dearborn 65, Franklin County 53 - Reece Willoughby led all scorers with 22 points. Eli Hoffman added 20 points for the Knights. Franklin County was led in scoring by Chad Cox with 19 points.
