GIRLS BASKETBALL
Class 4A Sectional 14 at East Central - First Round
East Central 43, Columbus East 27 - The Lady Trojans will play #10 Martinsville in the semi-finals on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
Columbus North 57, Bloomington South 43 - Columbus North will play Bloomington North in the semi-finals.
Class 3A Sectional 29 at Rushville - First Round
Lawrenceburg 45, Connersville 34 - The Lady Tigers shot 43 percent from the floor and connected on 12-of-17 free throws to advance to the semi-finals. Kierah Lowe led the way with 12 points. Lizzie Redar added 10 points, Hannah White had 9 and Kirsten Cross finished with eight to power the Tigers. Lawrenceburg will play Batesville in the semi-finals on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
Class 2A Sectional 45 at South Ripley - First Round
Southwestern (Hanover) 41, Milan 17 - The Lady Indians finish the season 1-15. Southwestern advances to play Switzerland County in the semi-finals.
South Ripley 33, North Decatur 28 - The Lady Raiders will play South Decatur in the semi-finals.
Class 1A Sectional 60 at Waldron - First Round
Jac-Cen-Del 57, Oldenburg Academy 21 - The Lady Eagles will play Morristown in the semi-finals on Friday.
