GIRLS BASKETBALL

Columbus North 40, East Central 35

Lawrenceburg 63, North Decatur 32 – Juliana Kemper put up 24 points for LHS, including her 1,000th career point. She also had 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Jenna Farmer added 7 points and 5 boards.

Greensburg 57, South Dearborn 34 – Kyrstin Bond led South Dearborn with 15 points.

SWIMMING & DIVING

East Central Defeats Milan

The EC AquaTrojans met Milan on Thursday. The EC girls won 121-43 while the Trojans boys for the 112-60 victory.

The Trojans won all six relays. Individual winners included Mackenzie Schantz (200 Freestyle, Jackson Ketcham (200 Freestyle, 500 Free), Olivia Nixon (200 IM, 100 Free), Jacob Weber (200 IM), Caroline Walters (50 Freestyle), Aly Bailey (1 meter diving), John Crawley (1 meter diving), Kyra Hall (100 Fly, 500 Free), Nick Weber (100 Free, 100 Back).

 

Batesville Can’t Overcome Bears

The Batesville Bulldogs swam at Shelbyville on Thursday, but could not get a win. The BHS girls lost 115-61 while the boys lost 133-39. Event winners for Batesville included the 200 Medley Relay team (Maria Lopez, Jenna Ertel, Halle Renck and Olive Cerniglia) and Ethan Brewer in the 100 Fly.
