BOYS BASKETBALL

Lawrenceburg Tournament

First Round - Lawrenceburg 73, DePaul Cristo Rey (Ohio) 39 – Four Lawrenceburg players scored in double figures: Gavin Yoon 16, Garrett Yoon 11, Adam Burd 10, and Zach Mollaun 10.

Semi-Final - Benton Central 41, Lawrenceburg 38 – Gavin Yoon led Lawrenceburg with 19 points.

 

South Ripley Tournament

First Round – East Central 55, Indianapolis Chatard 43

First Round – Irvington Prep Academy 52, South Ripley 47

Semi-Final – East Central 71, Irvington Prep Academy 44

Consolation – Indianapolis Chatard 41, South Ripley 36

 

North Decatur Tournament

First Round – North Decatur 54, Rising Sun 42

Consolation – Yorktown 61, Rising Sun 41

 

Vincennes Lincoln McDonald’s Hoosier Hysteria Tournament

First Round – Vincennes Lincoln 66, Milan 49

 

Columbus East 70, Batesville 62 – Robert Raver led Batesville with a double-double including 25 points and 15 rebounds.

 

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

East Central Skyline Chili & Haag Ford Holiday Tournament

First Round – East Central 64, Shelbyville 42

 

Rumble on the River at Southwestern (Hanover)

First Round – Lawrenceburg 52, Madison 49 – Juliana Kemper scored 17 points and grabbed 11 boards for LHS. Makenna White had 12 points.

First Round – Scottsburg 57, Switzerland County 48

Semi-Final – Lawrenceburg 59, Charlestown 49 – Lawrenceburg’s Juliana Kemper went off for 29 points, plus 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 blocked shots.

Consolation – Switzerland County 41, Southwestern (Hanover) 36

 

Indian Creek Tournament

First Round – Indian Creek 65, Franklin County 38

Consolation – Franklin County 41, Bloomington North 36

 

Edinburgh Johnson Memorial Health Classic

First Round – Jac-Cen-Del 57, Indianapolis Lutheran 43

Semi-Final – Jac-Cen-Del 48, Southwestern (Shelbyville) 43

3rd Place Game – Triton Central 73, Lawrenceburg 62 – Lawrenceburg freshman Garrett Yoon had a season-best 22 points and 4 assists.

 

South Ripley Tournament

Championship – East Central 60, Whiteland 51

7th Place Game – South Ripley 47, Rock Creek Academy 42

 

Vincennes Lincoln McDonald’s Hoosier Hysteria Tournament

Consolation – Borden 59, Milan 56

7th Place Game – Evansville Day School 57, Milan 54

 

Oldenburg Academy 48, Franklin County 29 – Oldenburg’s Jake Johnson starred with 25 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists.

 

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

East Central Skyline Chili & Haag Ford Holiday Tournament

Semi-Final – East Central 39, Seymour 30

Championship, Dixie Heights (Ky.) 35, East Central 34

 

Rumble on the River at Southwestern (Hanover)

Championship – Scottsburg 58, Lawrenceburg 47 – Lawrenceburg had to settle for second place in the tournament. Juliana Kemper scored 18 points and Macey Radenheimer had 16 in the title game.

5th Place Game – Madison 43, Switzerland County 35
