FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Lawrenceburg 54, Rushville 51 – Lawrenceburg outscored Rushville 24-10 in the 4th quarter to get the come-from-behind victory. Lawrenceburg’s Gavin Yoon posted an all-around great game with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Zach Mollaun added 14 points, 4 boards, and 4 assists. Garret Yoon had 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Connersville 50, South Dearborn 43

Rising Sun 43, New Washington 41 – Nick Coons and Landon Cole drove the Shiners to the win with 11 points each.

Southwestern 67, Jac-Cen-Del 50 – Caleb Simon led Jac-Cen-Del with 14 points. Wyatt Day added 11.

Trinity Lutheran 75, Switzerland County 61 – Damian Breek led Switz with 21 points.

Indianapolis Chatard 59, Oldenburg Academy 55 – Jake Johnson went off with 33 points and 10 rebounds for Oldenburg. Andrew Oesterling scored 14 more points and 4 rebounds for OA.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Connersville 44, South Dearborn 29

Greensburg 54, Batesville 47 – Batesville was led by Hattie Westerfeld with 14 points, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists.

East Central 55, Batesville 46 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game

South Dearborn 76, Ludlow (Ky.) 65

Greensburg 70, Franklin County 23

Oldenburg Academy 50, Rising Sun 34 – Oldenburg’s Andrew Oesterling had 14 points and 4 rebounds while teammate Jake Johnson had 13 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Rising Sun’s Nick Coons played great with 18 points while Noah Pflum added 9.

Morristown 74, Milan 71

Jac-Cen-Del 62, Trinity Lutheran 55 – Caleb Simon and T.J. Menchhofer each scored 13 points for JCD.

 

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

East Central 44, Batesville 32 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game – East Central’s Kyla Maxwell starred with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Logan Cox recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Batesville was led by Hattie Westerfeld with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Lawrenceburg 48, Rushville 44 – Lawrenceburg’s Juliana Kemper moved into first on LHS’ all-time scorer list with this 27-point performance. She also grabbed 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, an assist and a steal.

Morristown 66, Milan 50

The East Central AquaTrojans boys and girls both came away champions of the Connersville Invitational on Saturday.

Lawrenceburg went 5-0 to win the East Central Six Way Tournament on Saturday. Batesville finished 2-3 at the event.
