East Central 5, South Dearborn 1 – Brady Spangler and Eric Puterbaugh each had 2 goals for East Central while Jules Brueker added one of his own. JT Roden made 3 assists. South Dearborn’s goal was kicked in by Ashton Cotton.

Lawrenceburg 3, Batesville 0

Rising Sun 2, Switzerland County 0 – Rising Sun’s Landon Cole starred with two goals. Keeper Jordan Parsons made 9 saves in the net for the Shiners.

CROSS COUNTRY

South Ripley girls won the team trophy at the South Decatur Invitational on Thursday.

 

GIRLS GOLF

Franklin County outperformed a short-handed South Dearborn team at Brook Hill Golf Course Thursday, 172-240. Wildcat seniors Maggie Brack and Taylor McCreary were co-medalists, each with scores of 42.

 

 

GIRLS SOCCER

East Central 4, South Dearborn 1 – EC’s goals were netted by Taylor Whitehead, Caitlyn Dick, Ema Hinton and Hailey Fritz.

Batesville 11, Greensburg 0 – Batesville’s Carlie Werner led the onslaught with 4 goals and an assist. Lauren Gutzwiller added 2 goals.

 

 

VOLLEYBALL

East Central 3, Batesville 0

South Ripley 3, South Decatur 2 – 25-18, 25-23, 25-27, 22-25, 15-10.

Waldron 3, Jac-Cen-Del 0 – 25-21, 25-18, 25-13

 

 

SWIMMING & DIVING

The SDMS AquaTrojans grab their first wins of the season as they traveled to Greendale to face the Bengals.  SDMS Girls won 122-50 while the boys won 140-5. Individual winners included: Bree Cleary 1 meter diving; Logan Burbrink 1 meter diving; Riley Reany 200 Freestyle, 50 Backstroke; Kyle Goodwin 200 Freestyle, 50 Butterfly; Henry Strotman 100 IM, 100 Freestyle; Aubree Popen 50 Freestyle, 50 Butterfly; Brayden Burbrink 50 Freestyle; Reagan Reany 400 Freestyle; Andrew Strotman 400 Freestyle; Issac Quick 50 Backstroke; Elle Jankovsky 50 Breaststroke; Ayden Ketchem 50 Breaststroke. SDMS won all 4 relays against Greendale.
