East Central wins 11-team invite at Sunrise in Madison with a low score of 387. Rowan Pies was the round medalists with a 75 (+3). 

 

CROSS COUNTRY

Terre Haute South Valley Kick-Off

Batesville girls placed 10th out of 40 teams. Kaylynn Bedel leading the team with a 24th place finish out of 361 finishers at 20:48. Lexiyne Harris was 2nd for the Bulldogs at 49th (21:46), followed by Jayla Bedel in 71st (22:16), Samantha Adams, 79th (22:37), Hilary Zielger, 87th (22:45), Bayleigh Demaree was 111th (23:13) and finishing our the varsity top 7 was Caitlin Raver with a 142nd place finish (23:41).

Batesville boys finished 20th out of 40 teams with Jake Chapman leading the way in 50th place (17:30) out of 381 runners. Cannon Clark was 2nd for the Dogs at 90th place (18:09) followed by Isaac Trossman (18:49) in 130th place and Cash Myers in 160th (19:09) and Levi Essick in 175th (19:26). Then there was a little bit of a gap, but finishing out the top 7 was Ethan Rahschutle and Brody Gibson at 20:09 and 21:45 respectively.
