Local Players Highlight IHSVCA Academic All-State Team

Twenty-nine local players earned the honor.

INDIANAPOLIS - More than 900 high school volleyball players have earned Academic All-State honors. 

The Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association has released their 2025 Academic All-State Team. 

To be eligible for this honor a player must be a senior, be on the school’s sectional roster and have a 3.50 or higher WGPA. We did divide the Academic All-State honors into two honors. Those players with a 3.5 – 3.74 WGPA earn Silver Awards. To earn the Gold Award, players must have a 3.75 for higher WGPA.

Local honorees are: 

Batesville (Gold: Anya Richey, Grace Walter, Reesa Zimmerman)

East Central (Gold: Ava Schneider, Maggie Shartzer; silver: Lila Lengerich)

Greensburg (Gold: Mya Comer, Avery Helms, Carmen Ripperger; silver: Emma Kuntz)

Jac-Cen-Del (Gold: Lanie Narwold, Brooklyn Simon, Molli Weber; silver: Taylor Swinney)

Lawrenceburg: (CharLeigh Combs, Jillian Gregory, Bella Nare, Alex Rummel, Reese Synder, and Austin Cao (Support Staff)

Milan: (Gold: Emma Voss, Tryniti Reed)

Oldenburg Academy: (Gold: Felicity Brelage, Laura Dennis, Bridgette Ehrhard, Hailey Hoffman, Rachel Suttmann, and Lilly Vanderpohl)

South Dearborn (Gold: Kelsey Clyde, Elizabeth Holt, Carli Walter)

South Ripley (Gold: Avery Andrews, Kaiya Rinear, Aubrey Werner; Silver: Kaidyn Gilpin)
