(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg Tigers baseball star is heading down river to play college baseball.
Austin Weimer recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany.
Weimer is in the midst of a solid senior season, hitting .429 with 27 runs scored, 14 RBIs and 10 doubles.
The Tigers star has also posted a 1.69 ERA in five appearances on the mound.
IU Southeast finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 37-20, including 21-9 in the River States Conference.
