LHS' Meyer Commits To Play Softball At Asbury Univ.

McKenzie Meyer was a four-year pitcher for the Lady Tigers.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg High School student-athlete will play softball in college.

On Thursday, McKenzie Meyer signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.

The Lady Tigers star was joined at a special signing day ceremony by her parents Chris and Colleen Meyer, her brother, Sean, Terri Cain, Bill Becker, Cindy Bowles, Angela Dean, Ken Hammit and Sherry Warren.

Meyer pitched for the Lady Tigers all four years of her high school career. She also spent time playing on club teams such as the 2-Out Storm, Cincy Slammers and the KAOS of Northern Kentucky.
