The tournament took place the first week of July in Viera, Florida.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg High School softball standout is a World Series champion.
The Northern Kentucky Bandits premier softball team won the USSSA Spacecoast World Series in Viera, Florida during the first week of July.
The 14U team went 2-1 in pool play before winning four-consecutive tournament games to take home the championship.
Tigers sophomore Nicole McCool served as a utility player and catcher for the Bandits.
The Bandits also included other tri-state area players: Amber Chaney, Dylan Scott, Aubrey Dance, Sidney Herbst, Teagan Turpin, Ava Meyer, Anna Greenwell, Emma Kent, Morgan Whitaker and Sam Boothby.
