(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Adam Burd will call Berea, Ohio home for the next four years.

The Lawrenceburg Tigers star running back announced his commitment to Baldwin Wallace University on Thursday.

Burd could be considered one of the top running backs in program history, at least in recent memory, with over 3,800 career rushing yards and 49 total touchdowns.

He had back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons as a junior and senior. This past season, Burd rushed for 1,008 yards and nine touchdowns, earning all-conference honors. The previous year, he eclipsed 1,700 yards and had 26 total TDs.

As a four-year letterman, Burd played a crucial role in helping the Tigers to three EIAC 3A Division championships, and three Sectional titles.
