Staci Knigga had previously led the program for 23 years.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg High School has found its next volleyball head coach.
The LHS Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Brooke Schnelle. She will take over the volleyball program for Staci Knigga, who stepped down as coach in December.
Knigga spent 23 years coaching the Tigers, amassing over 500 wins, eight sectional titles and eight conference championships, including two outright EIAC titles.
Most recently, Schnelle served as the head coach of the Walnut Hills volleyball program.
"Coach Schnelle is a highly motivated leader with a deep passion for both volleyball and the student-athletes she mentors. Her experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence make her an ideal fit for this role," reads a statement from the LHS Athletic Department.
Lawrenceburg went 22-7 last fall. They are expected to return nine rostered varsity players next season following the graduation of five seniors.
