Knigga, Taylor Reach Milestones at Union County Invite

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Two Lawrenceburg High School volleyball stars hit milestones on Saturday. 

While competing at the Union County invite senior Natalie Knigga recorded her 1,000th career kill, while Trinity Taylor tallied her 200th career ace. 

Knigga is just the second Tiger player to ever reach 1,000 career kills. She has 326 for the season in 85 sets played. Knigga also reached 200 career aces earlier in the week. 

She and Taylor both rank in the top five in program history in that statistical category. 

Taylor hopes to join the 1,000 career kill club at the sectional this week. 

The Tigers will host Class 3A Sectional 29. Lawrenceburg received a bye and will play the winner of Franklin County and Batesville in the semi-finals
