IHSAA Releases Wrestling State Finals Brackets

Six area wrestlers will compete at the event.

INDIANAPOLIS - Six area high school wrestlers will compete at the State Finals this week. 

On Sunday evening, the brackets in each weight class were released by the IHSAA. 

  • 113 - Franklin County senior Cole Freese (28-4, NR) will take on Crown Point freshman Noel Verduzco (38-0, #3). 
  • 132 - Franklin County senior Colin Troyer (27-6, NR) will take on Center Grove senior Eddie Goss (29-7, #7)
  • 138 - Switzerland County junior Payton Richards (34-3, #9) will take on Adams Central sophomore Dylan Ogg (47-1, #18)
  • 157 - Milan senior Kaleb Wilburn (41-4, #17) will take on Cowan junior Jackson Bradley (32-0, #5)
  • 165 - East Central sophomore Jaxsin Prater (33-7, NR) will take on Bloomington South senior Evan Roudebush (43-1, #2)
  • 175 - East Central sophomore Brody Wingate (32-7, NR) will take on Delta senior Kaeb Stebbins (35-4, #5)

Tickets for the 87th IHSAA Boys Wrestling State Finals will go on sale to the General Public on Tuesday, February 18 at Noon. Tickets are $15 per session or $30 for all sessions. Reserved seating only.

  • To purchase single session tickets, visit Ticketmaster.com or the Gainbridge Fieldhouse Box Office starting on Friday, February 21st at 1 pm ET.

The IHSAA Boys Wrestling State Finals will begin on Friday, February 21 with opening round matches at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. The State Finals will continue on Saturday, February 22 starting at 9:00 a.m.
