IHSAA: Fall Sport Sectional Alignments Approved

East Central will see a slight change in their Class 5A Football Sectional.

INDIANAPOLIS - At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, the IHSAA Executive Committe approved sectional alignments for four fall sports.

The sectional alignments linked below will be used in the fall and take into account movement between classifications due to the Tournament Success Factor in each sport.

In football, East Central will see a slight change to their Class 5A Sectional. Whiteland joins the fray with the Trojans, Columbus East, Franklin Community and Seymour. All other sectionals featuring local teams are unchanged from last season.

Boys and girls soccer sectionals begin Oct. 6, girls volleyball sectionals begin Oct. 14, and football sectionals begin Oct. 24.

Host sites for girls volleyball will be announced at the end of June.
