Henry, Kahn Earn ORVC Weekly Honors After Reaching Milestone Moments

This is expected to be the final ORVC Report of the winter season.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Two of the top boys basketball players in the Ohio River Valley Conference have earned weekly honors after reaching milestone moments.

The ORVC Report for February 19-24 was released on Tuesday.

South Ripley’s Cole Henry and Shawe Memorial’s Philip Kahn were named the ORVC Boys Basketball Players of the Week.

Henry earned the honor by totaling 63 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks in two games, including a 37-point performance against Rising Sun where he eclipsed the 1,000-career point mark.

While his team did not leave with a win, Kahn scored 20 points against Milan, which was enough to become Shawe Memorial’s all-time leading scorer.
