(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Six area high school basketball teams have been honored for getting good grades.

The Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association recently named their 2020-21 Girls and Boys Team Honors Court.

In order to make the Honors Court, a team's entire sectional roster had to have an average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the corresponding academic year.

Jac-Cen-Del, Switzerland County, and Batesville were named to the Girls Team Honors Court. For Jac-Cen-Del and Batesville, it marks the second consecutive season they have made the list.

Three teams from Eagle Country made the Boys Team Honors Court. They are East Central, Lawrenceburg and Batesville. East Central and Batesville have earned the honor four years in a row.
