Guilford Native Drafted by LA Rams

Congratulations Max Klare!

(Guilford, Ind.) - Max Klare heard his named called in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft last Friday. 

Klare was selected 61st overall by the Los Angeles Rams. 

The Guilford native played his high school football at St. Xavier. He played 18 games at Purdue University before transferring to Ohio State last season. 

He earned Third-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2024 while at Purdue. Last season with the Buckeyes, Klare was a First Team All-Big Ten selection. 

Klare played a total of 32 games between Purdue and Ohio State with 116 receptions for 1,329 yards and six touchdowns.

Max is the son of Susan and Andy Klare.
