(Florence, Ky.) – One of the best pitchers in Florence Freedom franchise history is going into the Frontier League Hall of Fame.

The league announced Wednesday that former starting pitcher, Andy Clark, will be inducted into the Frontier Hall of Fame Class of 2018.

Clark spent six seasons with the Florence Freedom from 2008-2013. During that time, he recorded a 37-16 record with a 3.72 ERA over 471.2 innings.

His number of starts, career victories and total innings are all top five in Frontier League history.

Perhaps the most interesting stat of Clark’s career is that he went 3-0 as a weekend starter during his final season for the Freedom in 2013. What was Clark doing during the week that season? Well, he was putting in hours at his day job as a full-time representative for Anheuser-Busch.

Clark will be inducted into the Frontier League Hall of Fame on Wednesday, July 11 at 11:30 a.m. at the Trigg Banquet Center in O’Fallon, Missouri.
