Five Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Versailles, Ind.) - Five student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for January 27 through February 1 was released on Thursday. 

South Ripley's Cole Henry and Switzerland County's Cam Craig are the ORVC Boys Basketball Players of the Week. Henry broke the South Ripley all-time scoring record previously held by Cody Samples (1,429). Henry totaled 37 points and 16 rebounds in two wins last weekend, helping South Ripley stay undefeated on the season. 

Craig put up 36 points and 19 rebounds in a win over Milan, which garnered him IBCA District 3 Player of the Week honors. 

The ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week is Ava Turner. The Shawe Memorial star tallied 31 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, and made seven 3's in two games. 

Seth Thomas (Milan) and Elizabeth McKittrick (South Ripley) are the Swim Performers of the Week.
