Ellie Lengerich Advances To Track State Finals; Commits To University Of Indianapolis

She will be competing in 4 events.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – It has been a memorable week for East Central High School track & field star Ellie Lengerich.

This week, Lengerich qualified for the State Track & Field Finals on Saturday, June 5 at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, where she will compete in four events: 800-meter, high jump, long jump, and the 4x400 relay.

She was the regional champion in the 800-meter run and long jump.

As if that was memorable enough, Lengerich also signed her letter of intent this week to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Indianapolis.

Lengerich plans to study Physical Therapy and Psychology at U of I.
