(St. Leon, Ind.) - An East Central High School soccer star has signed her letter of intent to play at the D-1 level.
Erika Wells made her commitment to Illinois State University official this week after verbally committing to the Redbirds in December of 2021.
Wells has had an incredible high school career. She is a two-time team captain, four-time All-EIAC selection, three-time sectional champion, two-time Academic All-State, and East Central's career assist record holder with 48.
In the classroom, Wells holds a 4.2 GPA and is ranked 14th in her class.
Additionally, Wells is a member of student council, eco club, buddy club, National Honor Society, and serves as a student ambassador.
