(St. Leon, Ind.) - Rowan Pies has had a tremendous high school career on the golf course.
She is a three-time State qualifier and All-State team selection, holds two course records, and holds an 18-hole scoring average of 71.2. This past season, Pies capped off her high school career by finishing tied for 20th at the State Finals. The Trojans' star had a tough first day, shooting 12-over par, but bounced back on day two with one of the best rounds of the day at even par.
Pies' best finish at the State Finals came during her sophomore season when she placed in the Top 10.
Upon graduation in the spring, Pies will make the transition to college golf. She recently signed her letter of intent to golf at the University of Illinois Chicago.
She plans to study Biological Sciences.
Pies is a member of the National Honor Society with a 3.7 GPA and has earned honor roll every quarter of high school.
