(Terre Haute, Ind.) - Cross Country runners from southeastern Indiana competed at the IHSAA Cross Country State Finals on Saturday.
The event was held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.
The East Central Lady Trojans finished 21st out of 25 teams. They were led by junior Callie Bentley, who made the podium with a 20th place finish (18:10.2). Jena Weiler had the Trojans' next best time (19:09.5), finishing 83rd overall.
Adeline Brewer placed 185th, Alyssa Donawerth 220th, Emily Klem 221st, Delaney Donawerth 227th, and Faith Harmeyer 245th.
Batesville senior Kaylynn Bedel finished 114th
In the boys race, Batesville senior Jacob Chatman finished 185th with a time of 16:53.9. Milan junior Gabe Riehle placed 248th.
