Sohns lead EC in tackles in 2021.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – An East Central High School football star is continuing the pipeline across the Ohio River to Thomas More University.
Senior linebacker Hunter Sohns announced Saturday via Twitter that he has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Thomas More University.
Sohns is a two-time All-EIAC selection, making the all-conference team as a junior and senior.
As a senior, Sohns was the Trojans’ leading tackler with 74, including three sacks and three tackles for loss.
Sohns continues a long tradition of East Central players to have played at Thomas More. He will join a couple former southeastern Indiana high school stars on the Saints roster. Those players are DL Axel Bell (South Dearborn) and K Joseph Hibbard (Lawrenceburg).
In other Thomas More news, the university announced last week that associate head coach and defensive coordinator Chris Norwell has been promoted to head coach.
Norwell is a former University of Illinois defensive lineman. He is entering his 13th season on the Saints’ sideline.
