The IHSAA Girls Soccer State Tournament rolls on tonight with semifinal matches.

(Southeast Indiana) - Two Dearborn County and EIAC rivals met on the pitch as the IHSAA Girls Soccer State Tournament continued on Tuesday.
At Class 3A Sectional 13 at Whiteland, the 17th ranked East Central Lady Trojans defeated #16 Lawrenceburg 1-0, avenging a 1-0 regular season loss to the Lady Tigers in late August.
Lawrenceburg ends the season with a record of 11-3-1. The Lady Tigers were moved up to Class 3A due to success factor after winning the 2A State Championship in 2024 and advancing to the Final Four in 2025.
East Central (12-3-1) advances to play #18 Columbus North (11-2-3) in the Sectional 13 Semifinals. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM Wednesday. The winner will play #5 Center Grove (12-2-2) or Whiteland (11-5-1) for the sectional title on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
In Class 2A, Sectional 29 kicks off tonight with a doubleheader. South Dearborn (7-7-1) takes on Franklin County (6-9) at 5:30 PM. The Knights won the regular season meeting 5-0.
#7 Batesville (13-1-1) will play host Madison (11-3) at 7:30 PM. The Bulldogs defeated Madison 4-1 during the regular season.
The winners of tonight's semifinal matchups will play for the sectional title on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
Rising Sun will host Class A Sectional 44 Semifinal matches this evening. #6 Switzerland County (12-4-1) plays Milan (8-5) at 5:00 PM. The Lady Pacers hold 6-2 and 9-2 wins over Milan this season.
#1 Oldenburg Academy (10-4-1) takes on Union County (9-4-1) at 7:00 PM.
The winners will play for the sectional title on Saturday at 2:00 PM
