(St. Leon, Ind.) - As the start of the high school football season nears, On3 has named their Top 25 teams in the State of Indiana, regardless of classification.
East Central represents southeastern Indiana on the 2026 Preseason Top 25 list.
The Trojans are ranked as the 20th best team in the state, according to On3.
Rankings are determined using the Massey Rankings, a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.
East Central will play a tough schedule in 2026 with home games against Lawrenceburg, Columbus North and Roncalli, and road games against New Palestine, Elder and Harrison.
On3 predicts that the Trojans will go 7-2 during the regular season with losses to New Palestine and Elder.
