(St. Leon, Ind.) - In order to make all-conference in tennis, you must win at the conference meet.
This season, only two schools were represented on the 2021 EIAC Girls Tennis All-Conference Team - East Central and Lawrenceburg.
Heidi Kane was the #1 Singles champion, earning EIAC MVP honors. The Trojans star went 27-1, losing in the Regional Championship to Heritage Christian's Noelle Compton.
Kane was joined on the all-conference team by Payton Pies (#2 Singles) and the #2 Doubles team of Lacey Kelly and Avery Daniels.
The East Central tennis team also excelled in the classroom, earning All-State Academic Team from the IHSTECA.
This team added yet another accolade to an already long list of achievements. Congratulations on being an All-State Academic Team from IHSTECA. Intelligent both on and off the court. #ECTennis #WeareEC #Student-Athletes @ECTrojanSports @tblacksunmande1 pic.twitter.com/TqFWAuWBNU
