East Central Lands on NHFA Preseason 1000 Rankings

The HSFA 1000 is a state-by-state look at the best teams, in no order.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – The kickoff to the 2024 high school football season is less than two months away.

As the season nears, High School Football America (HSFA) has unveiled their Preseason 1000 rankings.

The HSFA 1000 is a state-by-state look at the best teams, in no order.

Locally, East Central was among 25 teams from Indiana to make the HSFA 1000. The Trojans made the final 2023 HSFA 300 National Rankings (169th) after going 15-0 and capturing a second consecutive Class 4A State Championship.

East Central will play in Class 5A the next two seasons based on their tournament success factor.

On Friday, the HSFA will begin unveiling their Preseason 300.
