Dillsboro Summer Ball Collects Food Items For Local Pantry

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Youth baseball players from Dillsboro have hit a huge home run for the community. 

Dillsboro Summer Ball recently hosted their first "Knock Hunger Out of the Park" community service project to support a local food pantry. 

Each team was tasked with bringing a food item donation. The winning team was the Orioles with 273 donations. 

The event was organized by Jennifer Baxter, of Dillsboro.
