Batesville Duo Represents SEI at Girls Golf State Finals

(Battle Ground, Ind.) - The 2026 IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals was held at Battle Ground Golf Club this past Friday and Saturday. 

Batesville sophomore Stella Maple and senior Alexis Gallagher represented southeast Indiana at the prestigious event. 

Maple tied for 21st overall with a 157 (+13). Maple carded a 79 in round one and a 78 in round two. Gallagher placed 74th overall. She carded a 91 and an 87 for a total score of 178 (+34).

Zionsville junior Taylor Snivley was the Individual State Champion with a six-under 138. She shot 67 in the opening round and a 71 on day two, helping her team to a Team State Championship with a low score of 589 (+13). Carmel was second with a 615. Westfield shot 622 as a team for third place.
