Ashton Craig Makes ND Debut in Blowout Win Over Navy

Craig is listed as the backup center.

Ashton Craig (70) sees playing time for the first time at Notre Dame. 

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ashton Craig had to get a passport before he took his first snap in a Notre Dame uniform. 

The Lawrenceburg native made his college football debut on Saturday in Dublin, Ireland. 

Craig entered the game in the second half of what was a 42-3 blowout win over Navy. 

Coming out of high school, the former Lawrenceburg Tiger standout was ranked as the No. 26 offensive tackle nationally and No. 8 player from Indiana by 247Sports.com. 

Craig, a redshirt freshman, is currently listed as Notre Dame's backup center.
