World's Longest Yard Sale On US 127 This Weekend

(Covington, Ky.) - Tri-State bargain hunters can take part in the World's Longest Yard Sale this weekend.

The 26th Annual World's Longest Yard Sale runs through Sunday, August 4. Thousands of people participate in the sale each year as vendors, setting up in parking lots or their front yards.

Nearly 100 vendors gathered yesterday in MainStrasse Village in Covington to peddle a host of wares. Covington is just one stop along the nearly 700-mile yard sale that stretches along U.S. 127 from five miles north of Addison, Michigan all the way to Gadsden, Alabama.

Those travelling along the yard sale route are asked to honor "No Parking" or "No Trespassing" signs posted by residents not participating in the sale.
