Winter Wonderland Parade, Civic Park Activities Set for Saturday

The forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 42.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Holiday fun will be had in downtown Lawrenceburg on Saturday.

The Civic Park area will be the location for several Winter Wonderland activities, including crafts, face painting, ice carving, the arrival of Santa, a big prize giveaway and more.

Civic Park Activities 11 AM-2 PM

Crafts, Face Painting, Ice Carving – 12:30 PM
Register for $1,000 in Prize Giveaways – 11 AM – 1 PM
Santa Arrives – 1 PM
Big Prize Giveaway – 1:15 PM

Other festivities will take place at the Community Center, Lawrenceburg Public Library and Hamline Chapel (listed below).

And don’t miss the Winter Wonderland Parade starting at 12:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Central Elementary School to Tate Street to Walnut Street to High Street to Short Street before ending at Williams Street.

Short Street from US50 to Tate Street will be closed from 10:30am until 12:45 for parade staging.

Walnut Street from Tate Street to High Street and High Street from Walnut Street to William Street will be closed for the parade from 12:30 to 1:15.
