Whitewater Township Kroger Set For Grand Re-Opening Dec. 9

Press release by Kroger Cincinnati/Dayton Divison (Cincinnati, Oh.) - Kroger Cincinnati/Dayton Division is proud to announce the grand re-opening of its Whitewater Township store located at 4001 State Route 128 in Cleves. The celebration will begin on Friday, December 9 at 8 a.m. The doors open at 7 a.m. and the first 300 customers will receive a $10 Kroger gift card and, throughout the weekend, the first 300 customers each day will receive coupons for a free specially-selected product. The 65,000-square-foot store began its $5.8 million renovation earlier this year and the community has anxiously awaited its completion. With the store’s re-opening, Whitewater Township Kroger is the one-stop shopping destination for many surrounding neighborhoods. The remodel at Whitewater Township includes many new updates and décor, and expanded departments, including Floral, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Dairy and Frozen Food. The store has also added a Starbucks. “There are so many exciting changes at our Whitewater Township store. This remodel gives us the opportunity to offer customers a fresh, new look,” says Tim Brown, president of Kroger’s Cincinnati/Dayton Division, “Customers will enjoy newly expanded departments and a brand new Starbucks. We hope the design and layout of the store will make shopping easier and more convenient for our customers.” Kroger will present several organizations with checks totaling more than $85,000. These funds represent money from the company’s Bringing Hope to the Table campaign to help feed hungry families in the community. In addition, James Taylor, Whitewater Township store manager, will also present a check to Taylor High School following the band’s performance. Special activities and appearances will take place throughout re-grand opening weekend December 9 through December 11 and the weekend of December 16 through December 18. See in store and printed circular for more details. “We are proud to serve Whitewater Township and surrounding communities,” says Taylor. “My team and I are excited to show off out investment in the store and share all the new updates and improvements with customers during our re-grand opening. We look forward to continuing to serve our loyal customers and to meeting many new ones!”
