Whiskey City Challenge & Pickin' N Sippin' is Back July 18

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Downtown Lawrenceburg will come alive with music, cycling, and the flavor of Indiana whiskey on Saturday, July 18 during the Whiskey City Bike Challenge and Pickin' N Sippin' event. 

Pickin' N Sippin' is back on the streets of downtown, featuring a full day of free live music, including The Po' Ramblin' Boys, The Local Honeys, Mama Said String Band and many more. 

This lineup of seven bluegrass bands will be playing along Walnut Street from noon to 10:00 p.m.

The Whiskey City Bike Challenge starts at 1:00 p.m. and will feature high-speed men's and women's' races throughout downtown Lawrenceburg. The final race will end at approximately 10:30 p.m.

New this year: a vendor area featuring makers, merchants, crafters and local businesses showcasing a variety of items, including gifts, snacks, drinks, and more, open from noon-10pm. Finally, attendees can enjoy samplings of some of Indiana’s finest whiskeys at Whiskey City’s Liberty Theater from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
