The riverboat sat vacant for nearly a decade in Lawrenceburg before moving south.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Have you ever wondered what happened to the old Argosy Casino?
The riverboat called Lawrenceburg home from 1998 to 2009, when it was replaced by the bigger barge that currently houses Hollywood Casino. For nearly a decade, the old Argosy riverboat sat vacant on the Ohio River before being towed south.
Eagle Country 99.3 reported in January 2018 that the original destination for the riverboat was "New Orleans or lower".
It currently sits empty in Bayou la Batre, Alabama.
