(West Chester, Oh.) - West Chester Township has confirmed that this will be the final year for the Voices of America Country Music Festival at its current location in VOA MetroPark.

In early June, the township provided advance notice to Further Concepts and Investors, LLC, that the license agreement for the use of township property would not be renewed, allowing the event organizer sufficient time to plan for relocating future events.

The original license agreement with Further Festivals provided automatic renewal terms for the 2025 and 2026 festivals, while any continuation in 2027 or 2028 required the mutual agreement of both parties.

After considering the event’s growing demands and reviewing the long-term capacity and fit at the current event site, the township decided not to approve the optional renewals.

"West Chester Township recognizes the festival’s popularity and appreciates the work of the event organizers, public safety personnel, and community partners who have supported the event. At the same time, hosting an event of this size requires significant resources for public safety, operational planning and property restoration. Furthermore, the festival has not produced a measurable local economic benefit sufficient to offset these impacts," reads a statement from West Chester Township.

Last year, more than 130,000 country music fans enjoyed the four-day music fest, setting a record for the event.

The VOA Country Music Fest is currently in its fourth year and will take place August 6-9 at VOA MetroPark. Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Jordan Davis will headline the event.
