Water Outage Planned For Some On Greendale's Ridge Avenue

A water valve will be replaced Thursday.

(Greendale, Ind.) – The City of Greendale is planning a water service outage for some homes and businesses along Ridge Avenue Thursday, September 5.

Greendale city manager Steve Lampert says a broken 8-inch water valve near 75 Ridge Avenue will be replaced.

To allow the work, water service will be shut off from 68 Ridge Avenue to 129 Ridge Avenue starting at around 8:00 a.m. The outage is expected to last for about four to six hours.

The project is dependent upon good weather, Lampert said.

Affected residents may contact the city at (12) 537-2125 with questions.
