Hoosier Hills Water tells Eagle Country 99.3 that a contractor hit a watermain on 625.
Customers in Elrod, Dillsboro and south of 200 N may experience little to no water.
Anytime this happens there is a voluntary boil advisory for drinking water for up to 48 hours.
"Our service men are in route and will make the repairs as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," Hoosier Hills Water said in a statement.
