(Pensacola, Fla.) – A Florence man’s crime spree is continuing in Florida.
David Vaughn, 32, fled from deputies after resisting arrest at a gas station in Verona on Monday. A deputy fired four shots toward Vaughn as he fled in a vehicle.
Later that same morning, Vaughn is believed to have stolen another vehicle from a residence in Vevay. Despite an alert put out describing the vehicle he stole, it appears Vaughn has escaped the tri-state.
He resurfaced Wednesday in Pensacola, Florida. Police there say Vaughn is responsible for an armed robbery at a Walgreen’s pharmacy.
Vaughn allegedly pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded pills. He got away in a maroon Nissan Rogue, the same type of vehicle police in Vevay say was stolen Monday.
Vaughn is now wanted in at least three states. He is described as white, 5’8″, and 340 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. Call police if you know his whereabouts.
