(Boone County, Ky.) – A Walton man has been arrested on child porn charges.
Randy S. Duke, 40, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with one count of Possession or Viewing Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor (Class D Felony) and one count of Distribution of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor (Class D Felony).
Duke was identified after a connection was made to his computer through a Peer-to-Peer file sharing network by an undercover computer.
Once the connection was made, police allegedly received 3,600 photographs and/or videos from Duke’s computer.
On Friday, detectives executed a search warrant at Duke’s residence, and he allegedly attempted to unplug and conceal his electronic equipment. Duke later admitted that he uses torrent software to download, distribute, and view images of young girls.
Duke is lodged at the Boone County Detention Center on $200,000 cash bond.
