VP Racing Fuel Gas Station Robbery, Stabbing Suspect Taken Into Custody

The suspect was apprehended early Thursday morning in Kentucky.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The suspect from an attempted robbery in Lawrenceburg has been taken into custody.

It was just before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday that a white male entered the VP Racing Fuel Station on Arch Street and attempted a robbery. During the incident, the suspect allegedly stabbed a gas station clerk before fleeing the area.

Less than 24 hours after the alleged crime, the suspect was identified and taken into custody early Thursday morning in Kentucky, according to Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens.

Once formal charges are filed, the suspect’s identity and additional details will be released.
