Martz will be on the Democratic Primary for District 55.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - A new challenger has emerged for the House District 55 race.
Victoria Martz has filed to run in the Democratic Primary on May 5 for State Rep. in District 55. The seat is currently held by Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville).
Martz is a graduate of Batesville High School. Her career experience includes working as a criminal defense lawyer. She earned a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2015 and a law degree from Indiana University in 2018.
In 2024, Martz ran for House District 55 against Patterson.
In September of 2025, Martz was elected as the new Chairwoman of the Ripley County Democrats. As Chair of the Ripley County Democratic Party, her top priorities are to fill every Precinct Chair seat and challenge all the elected positions possible in Ripley County.
