An open house will follow at the American Legion Post 239.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - This year, Veterans Day falls on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
Community members are invited to reflect and remember those who lost their lives in service to their country at a memorial ceremony at the Lawrenceburg Courthouse on Sunday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m.
Wreaths will be placed on the monuments outside the courthouse, in addition to the playing of "Taps".
Following the ceremony, the American Legion Post 239 in Lawrenceburg will host an Open House. The event is open to the public. Drinks and food will be served.
