Versailles Woman Rescued After Being Trapped In Septic Tank

(Versailles, Ind.) - Yesterday evening, Versailles Firefighters were dispatched to Rolling Hills after receiving a call about an elderly woman trapped in a septic tank. 

Firefighters found the woman trapped chest high in a tank that collapsed when she stepped off the steps of her deck. 

Using a rescue tripod and rope equipment, the firefighters were able to extricate the woman.

The woman did not sustain injuries during the accident.
