(Osgood, Ind.) – A Versailles woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.

Indiana State Police responded to the accident on State Road 350 near Osgood around 3:00 p.m.

The initial investigation indicated that a black 2003 Mazda passenger car driven by Tammy R. Judd, 48, of Versailles, was eastbound on SR 350 near Finds Road – when her vehicle left the south side of the road and struck a guardrail.

Judd’s vehicle came back onto the road and struck a vehicle driven by Brock A. Peetz, 44, of Napoleon.

Troopers say the vehicles struck nearly head-on.

Judd was pronounced dead at the scene. Peetz sustained only minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and toxicology results on both drivers are pending at this time.
