Versailles Firefighters Honored at Annual Awards Banquet

(Versailles, Ind.) – Several firefighters were recently recognized for a job well done. 

Versailles Fire Rescue held their annual Awards Banquet on Saturday evening.

Some of the awards given included Firefighter of the Year, Officer of the Year, Chief’s Award, Top Training Hours, Years of Service Award, and Top 10 Responders.

Bryan Buchanan was named the Firefighter of the Year. See other award winners below.

  • Officer of the Year – Josh Walston
  • Chief’s Award – Tony Franklin
  • Top Training Hours - Jayden Hunger, Trenton Franklin, Tanner Franklin, Tony Franklin, Rick Dillion
  • Years of Service – Trenton Franklin and Tristan Hanna (one year), Nathan Pelfrey, Brad Dillion, Jason Hooten, Cassi Hornsby & Johnnie Seaver (five years)
  • Top 10 Responders - Jayden Hunger, Bryan Buchanan, Tony Franklin, Tanner Franklin, Rick Dillion, Randy Hornsby, Gaig Harden, Josh Walston, Johnnie Seaver & Nathan Pelfrey
