Versailles Fire Rescue enjoyed some much-needed down time on Saturday evening.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Versailles Fire Rescue got some much-needed down time on Saturday evening.
Volunteer firefighters and their families came together for the annual Versailles Fire Family Picnic at the Versailles Fire Station.
The event featured a cookout and a bounce house for the kids.
So far this year, Versailles firefighters have responded to 436.
Their most recent call came on Friday morning when they received a report of a fire endangering an outbuilding on County Road 150 W just south of Versailles.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and save the outbuilding, which only received minor damage.
